I typically like to arrive around 30 mins before the ceremony is due to start. This allows me time to get my cameras setup and adjusted for the surroundings and to make contact with your ceremony team as well as capturing the arrival.
How many images will we get in our package?
This is most common question, and the hardest to answer. Naturally, the longer your package the more images you can expect. But I make no promises as to the number of images you will get. I can give you a rough estimate in that you will have enough images to remember your wedding, typically in the hundred or more region. The longer your package the more time I have to capture your day.
Will we get all the images you take?
No, this just isn’t possible nor would it be professional. Some images are not suitable to be edited, for example if a child is crying or the groom has his eyes closed or the Mother in Law is not looking. Images are carefully selected before being edited and presented to you both.
How long will it take for our images to be ready?
It depends on how many images need to be prepared and the workload I face at the time. I typically try to get all images to my couples within one month but I endeavour to get them to you sooner.
Will we have a say over the editing of the images?
Yes, of course. However, I try to manage your expectations but using a form before your wedding day where you can indicate your likes and dislikes over editing styles.
Can we meet up for a consultation before our wedding day?
Over course we can, there’s no extra charge. We don’t have to meet up if you don’t want as some couples don’t feel the need to. We can meet at your home or at the venue or some where mutually agreed if you prefer.
How do we choose the images to go in our photo book?
Your online gallery has a great feature where you can select and deselect the images you’d like to print your photo book. It’s really simple.
Will my package include our bridge getting ready?
That depends, entirely on which package you have. You will have the set number of hours of photography; 4, 6, 8 or unlimited, how you deploy me as your photographer is your choice. If you’d like to capture your bridge getting ready but not the first dance for example we can arrange that. We will discuss your preferences and choices as we design your wedding photography.
Can you save our images onto a USB device?
Your images will be available for you to download from your online gallery on this website. You can then save those images to any device you wish.
Can I pay by installments and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is £100, this will secure your date. I only ever book one wedding per day. It gets busy for bookings and its very much first come first served for those who pay their deposit. Yes, you can pay by instalments, the full balance must be paid six weeks before your wedding day.
We have some distant family joining us from the other side of the world, can you take some special family group photos on the day?
Absolutely, your photos will become your memories and so to capture a special family moment can become priceless. Just ask me and we make that arrangement, even on the day.
Can we have all the original images in RAW format before they are edited?
Unfortunately not, these files are strictly copyright protected and are my intellectual property.
Will you use our images on your website or other marketing?
Yes, even though you purchased the wedding package, I still own the intellectual properties on all images I take. If there are some specific reasons that you’d prefer images not to be used in my marketing please notify me in writing in advance of your wedding day.
Can we speak to your previous wedding couples?
Yes, of course. Just let me know and I can arrange for you to make contact with previous couples. You can read through the testimonials on my website, these are all genuine clients.
